We know that walking into a new place is sometimes difficult. Every week, people decide to make Willow Hills a Church to call home. No matter where you are in life, we are glad to have you among us. It is our desire for all who visit Willow Hills to find a place to worship God and connect with people. There’s a place for you here whether you are just beginning to explore Christianity or have been a Christ follower for a long time.
We believe that music has a powerful impact on each person; yet various styles of music impact people differently. With this in mind, we have services with two different styles of worship, but whichever you choose, you can be sure you will hear Christ centered teaching from God’s Word that is applicable to your life.
Our traditional worship services (9:30 AM & 11:00 AM in the Worship Center) are led by the choir and orchestra centered on the cherished hymns of the faith. The contemporary service (11:15 AM in the Gym/Family Life Center) is led by our praise and worship team focusing on newer worship songs.
What To Expect
When you arrive you will be greeted by people who are genuinely happy to see you. Our service begins with engaging, live worship through music, followed by an expository message from the Bible. This means that we actually teach from the Bible, helping you to understand it and apply it to your life. All of this takes place in a casual and friendly environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can belong.
What do you have for my children and/or youth on Sunday mornings?
We offer children’s Sunday School for ages birth through 6th grade during the 9:30am church service and extended Sunday School for ages birth through 5 years old during the 11:15am church service. Youth meet in small groups to develop community allowing each student to know God and build relationships with others. Lessons are taught and midweek devotions are available for personal and family study. Adult classes are varying topics are available at 8 AM, 9:30 AM and 11 AM.
How do I dress?
At Willow Hills, we are not focused on what you wear. Most of those who attend Sunday morning worship dress in business casual or casual attire. You will find some men in suits and ladies in dresses. Come comfortable as you are!
What happens on Sunday night?
All children are invited Sunday nights 5pm-7pm for AWANA Club through the school year. Through AWANA the kids will come to know, love and serve Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit works in their hearts. The youth and college ministries meet for fellowship and refreshments and even play some games. There is also time for worship and teaching to help students grow deeper in a relationship with God. Finally, at various times, there are studies and Life Groups meeting for adults.
Which version of the Bible do we use?
Whereas there are several good translations of the Bible in use today, here at Willow Hills we teach and preach from the English Standard Version (ESV).
We have parking available on either side of the worship center. As you enter the driveway, you may continue straight ahead or turn left at the first entrance. You will see signs for overflow parking, but this is for members and regular attendees! Overflow Parking is at Trinity Christian School’s High School Campus, also known as the “lower campus.” We encourage guests and visitors to park in one of the main parking lots.
